Shadow was approached by Joris a couple of years ago with an interesting grip concept that immediately got their brains ticking. Joris uses beeswax candles for who knows what and was really into the shape and feel of the honeycomb pattern. Being that the candles are very close to the diameter of a grip, Joris really wanted to utilize this “Natural” design as the main concept for his signature grip. After many drawings, samples, and refinements shadow has at last arrived at the Joris Coulomb Maya grip. An extremely comfortable and long-lasting grip that takes it’s ingenious design straight from the natural world. Combined with their proven DCR Formula material, they have created an instant classic.
